This is coming in a new shortcode. Should be released in the next week or 2.
SendPress has this. We use The WordPress WYSIWYG editor, you just need to select the visual tab.
This is planned.
This definitely shouldn't happen. Please start a topic in the WordPress.org forum and we will investigate with you to see if we can figure out what's happening. This does not happen on any of our multisite installs.
If you can provide us more info on the custom roles you are using we can probably make it work. We support s2Member and woocommerce so far.
Yes. We will be releasing autoresponders. We have been working on the groundwork for that for the last couple weeks.
Perhaps I should have explained myself a little bit better in my previous post. I did not mean to sound flippant or make you think that we did not take your suggestion seriously. What I actually meant by eventually is that we have a couple features on our release schedule that we have to do before custom fields. Specifically, we would like to add bounce handling, auto responders, and a better import for using CSV files and a few other sources we have in mind. We feel like those three items are the highest priority for people who are using the plug-in today.
We fully intend to allow for more fields in the subscriber list in addition to allowing people to create their own fields. I don't want to get into the relative simplicity or difficulty of adding this feature, but I can assure you if it was really easy to squeeze into a development cycle it would be there by now. We are working really hard to make SendPress the best e-mail newsletter option for WordPress.
We do really value your feedback and we will definitely take it into consideration that a pro user is requesting a new feature when determining which features to work on for our upcoming releases. I think it's only fair that the opinion of a pro user carries the most weight.
If you would like to discuss this further, I would be happy to continue this conversation via e-mail. Please either open a ticket or drop us a line at hello at SendPress dot com
More (and custom) fields will eventually be added.
